Hi, I’m Lluvia. Welcome to my blog!
I’m a writer based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently studying Creative Writing and Professional Writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As a Mexican American born to Mexican immigrant parents, much of my work is shaped by memory — the way the past lingers in language, stories, and small everyday moments.
I find inspiration in writers like George R.R. Martin and Cassandra Clare, whose worlds and characters remind me of the power of storytelling. Recently, I’ve begun exploring nonfiction, a genre that feels both new and deeply personal as I learn from experience and reflection. This blog is where I gather those pieces — poems, creative nonfiction, and reflections that explore where art, thought, and feeling meet.
I write to understand what I’ve lived and to offer something that might help others feel a little less alone. My hope is that my words invite readers to pause, to remember, and to see their own stories reflected back at them.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading, baking, or hiking — finding inspiration in quiet routines and the spaces where life slows down.
This blog is part journal, part creative archive — a place where I let my thoughts take shape and follow wherever they lead.
